ROCKY PATEL EDGE MADURO-Maduro Cigar in Carefree, AZ.
Tell Sam hello for us. Thanks!
* The cigar had alot of flavor and spice, then when you get to about the middle it tastes like cocoa and is sweet from the maduro wrapper.
* This is a GREAT cigar for a rainy day.
* The Edge lit very nicely, but I had to re-light once or twice.
* I always cut my cigars cause thats what I like to do best, but if you punch them it gives a good draw as well.
* I would rate this cigar definately 5 stars!
* I hope you enjoy this review and the many more we are going to write and I hope all of our reviews will be very helpful to you in making a decision on what cigars you would like to try! *

Opus No. 4 "Getcha" X by Fuente Fuente
Wrapper: Dominican Republic
Ring and Length size 5.19 X 43
It was around $9 to $15 depending on the size you want to buy
I thought it was a decent smoke, it was mild at first but as you smoke it down, it started getting more full body. I have a high tolerance for really strong cigars but this is one why I nicknamed it "Getcha." I would definately recommend eating a big steak dinner before smoking the Opus X. It was woody and earthy but didn't over power the cigar with flavors. It was also spicey with hints of coffee. I would let one age for a good amount of time. I'm saying for probably about six months. I give this cigar 4 and half stars.

Rocky Patel Natural Sumatra-Maduro Cigar in Carefree, AZ
Wrapper: Sumatra
Binder: Nicaraguan
Filler: Nicaraguan, Honduran
Price $5.00
It was Mild to me. I really enjoyed it like I do with every other Rocky Patel cigar. This was also a Torpedo size, so there was a very good texture to the cigar. It leaked its natural oils and drew nicely.
I give this cigar 4 out of 5 stars.

CAO Soprano "The Sopranos Edition"
The deal we got was 2 CAO Soprano's for $30 and then got a free 5 pack of a limited choice. This was a good cigar. It was Mild to me. It kind of picked up in body as it sat overnight, but it wasn't full body, it was a Light Medium to me. It was a slow burn. Flavor was good. Didn't have a charcoal taste at all, I hate when any cigars have that taste. I give this cigar a 3 - 4 stars. I would also recommend letting it age for a long time, it definately gets better after aging.

I came across this deal on JRCigars.com, buy one box, get a second box the same size free and believe or not, they still have that deal going on and hopefully by the time you read this, they will still have this awesome deal! A little about the cigar, Bandito 4.50 in length and 36 ring. A very natual cigar, medium body and you would say it's a light shade maduro wrapper. These come 30 in a box, so with this deal Trina and I received 60 cigars, WHOA! Only one of these cigars leaked it's natural oils, the rest of them haven't. If you like a medium body small cigar, this is a great cigar to have on hand. These are made in New York! Big shout out to NY! I give this cigar a 5 Star!!!

The Bolivar Cuban Alternative Corona size. The length is 5.62 and the ring size is 46. It is a Medium to Full Body cigar. The wrapper color is a medium brown. For me, at the beginning its Mild, but too other cigar smokers it may be Medium right off the bat, but when I get to the middle of the cigar it starts to give me a buzz. You get a bundle of 20 for $27.95, not a bad deal at all...don't know how long that price is good for but these cigars are definately worth the price. I give this cigar a 5 stars!!!!

This is a good cigar. The price is not bad at all. It is like $2.00 - $2.50 a stick if the owner didn't raise the price. It is a cigar that would take like a half and hour to an hour to smoke. We recommend eating something first. Dark Wrapper, Full Body, Cuban Seed, Good after a Mexican meal, it had a woody, earthy flavor to it.
You should stop and pick one up and try it for yourself, you shouldn't be disappointed.

Drew Estate Java Maduro Corona and Drew Estate Java Latte Corona
Java Maduro Corona made by Drew Estates Company and distributed by Rocky Patel is a very nice laid back smoke that releases a very WONDERFUL java aroma, so if your parents don't see you smoking, they'll think your're having AWESOME cup of joe. I noticed it was lightly creamy and mocha like. It was mild to me, so if you haven't given this cigar a try, think about it. Maybe purchase two, smoke one and let the other one age for about six months and let us know.
I give this cigar a 4 stars!!!
And.....
Drew Estates Java Latte, very mild, a lot lighter than the maduro and unfortunately to me, it has less flavor than the maduro but it still gave off a real nice coffee aroma. Maduro always seem to give off a better flavor than mild light colored wrapper cigars. Don't get me wrong, there are very nice flavorful mild connecticut cigars out there, you just have to smoke a ton to find them.
I give this cigar a 3 stars!!!
Plans: Buying the bigger Java's for the difference which are the Java Claro The 58 Super Toros in Latte and Maduro.

H. Upmann Vintage Cameroon - DJ's Smoke Shop(Power and Main)
Today for the first time in a long time, I stopped in a local smoke shop, it's called DJ's Smoke Shop located on Power and Main street here in Sunny Mesa Arizona. H. Upmann has been around since 1844 and has made many GREAT and not so great cigars. One of their best is the H. Upmann Vintage Cameroon. First production came out in the 90's and it was such a high demand, they ran out of the tobacco to make the cigar. So they released whatever they could and now it's back. It's absolutely a GREAT cigar from the foot to the head of the cigar. I smoked a Corona size, it had a few veins, white dotty ash, great draw, the burn had a nice pace. It would burn even, then it would burn uneven, burn even, then burnt a little uneven at the end of the cigar, but the overall cigar was GREAT! By the way, I used a flame lighter to light the cigar. You can tell it's a well aged cameroon cigar, the aroma and the flavor was full. It's a medium bodied smoke and I give this H. Upmann Vintage Cameroon cigar a 5 stars!!!
Now let's make these last for a while and not buy them out like we did back in the 90's, LOL!
Note: Make sure you save up your money for only God knows what and make sure you're putting some money to the side to purchase your favorite cigars at your local shop for support. Everyday the cigar industry goes through some kind of crisis like the government and Washington raising the taxes, triple taxing you local cigar shop and cigars you LOVE to buy. So let's keep fighting and saving the cigar industry so we can smoke in peace!!

A lot of times I buy a cigar, smoke it, don't care for it but then next timeI go back to the shop. Alec Bradley Medalist Cuban Belicoso
This was a good darn deal on this smoke from Famous-Smoke.com. I have smoked many cigars from the Alec Bradley line and this cigar is mouthwatering dark oily medium to full body. This deal is/was $29.99 for 10 in a nice looking box. Is this one of my favorites, nope! This is a good cigar to enjoy if you can handle a cigar right after work or have no worries after a nice meal. It's more medium body to me and has a little spice to it. I give this cigar 4 out of 5 stars! *This is not a real cuban*

Oliva Connecticut Reserve Torpedo
The Oliva Family, Wow! They make wonderful cigars, each and everytime I smoke one, I always have something great to say about their cigars! Smooth, complexity, the draw, the burn! This was probably my first time smoking the Connecticut Reserve and it was mild, almost a light medium body and to me it had a little spice. I have smoked most of their line and the others are medium to full. So when you want something to take a little break from the heavier smokes, Connecticut is the way to go. It was very smooth, decent burn and a good draw. Before I left the shop, I bought another one to smoke later because most of the sticks in the humidor are medium to full, majority full body.
I give this cigar 5 out of 5 stars! I acutally like it better than the Macanudos.

Liga Privada No. 9 - Tinderbox(Fiesta Mall) Stop in before August 21, 2010, they will be closed after that...So Hurry In!! Great Deals!!
This is a very good cigar, but the Liga Privada T52 beats this one for me. Liga Privada No. 9 is Mild with a tad bit of spice to me, not overpowering at all. The T52 is more full body and you can taste it, but its not overpowering its very smooth. Some people would think the No. 9 is more for them cause of its Mild taste.
People have their own opinions some people would think the No. 9 is GREAT and it is but I just think that the T52 is more for my pallet. I would totally give this cigar a 5 out of 5 stars, cause it is good. But my rating for the T52 is off the charts cause I think its AWESOME!! Try them for yourself and let us know your opinion.

Perdomo Cuban Bullet Cuban Seed 2.0 Version
The Cuban Bullet Cuban Seed is a good cigar but it is Mild to me. It has a tad bit of spice but not enough to make your head spin or you to get sick. But everyone has a different pallet and mine likes a VERY strong cigar.
We had the Robusto size which is 5x52.
The Cuban Bullet Cuban Seed has a (silver band) which is a Nicaraguan puro, with a medium-to-full body and an earthy taste. I think it is more mild-to-medium body, but I do agree with the earthy taste that it has.
I would give this cigar a 3 out of 5 stars!!!

This cigar is alot stronger then the Cuban Seed, but still not overpowering and too strong. If you smoke it fast you could probably get a pretty good head buzz and if it sits over night it has more of a harsh taste and will definately give you a head buzz.

This cigar in my opinion is the best and well valued cigar from Ashton and why? It was made by Jose Garcia Pepin, one of the worlds best master blenders.
Very nice dark brown Nicaraguan wrapper, with Nicaraguan binders and "high grade" Nicaraguan fillers, medium to full bodied but to me it sits in the medium range and draws well. The stick I smoked is a 6X50 Toro, only cost me $3.00 dollars a stick and where I bought it was at the Tinder Box on Alma School and Southern. Hurry because the store is closing August 21st and their inventory is getting lower and lower each day but don't get too sad. It has a new owner who will reopen the store shortly after it closes for remodeling.
I give this cigar Five stars!

Azteca by Gran Habano
Brand new from George A. Rico, Azteca! The size I had is called Jaguar and it's a double maduro wrapper and binder from Mexico with a sweet and tangy with a woody note but it's not cedar. Filler Panamanian and Nicaraguan. Might sound a little weird but it was like a oaky flavor and mild at the beginning. I am honestly not a big fan of G.A.R. cigars but I started to like it when I got past the sweet, tangy and woody. It picked up with spice and medium body. I give this cigar Three stars!

Joya de Nicargua Fuerte Series B
This size we ordered is the Corona Gorda. It is similar to the brand new Joya de Nicargua Dark Corojo Antano. Both are AWESOME cigars. The maker of the cigar is Alejandro Martinez-Cuenca. The filler blend is slightly different, made with a bold combination of Cuban-seed Criollo long-fillers from Esteli, Condega, and Jalapa valleys of Nicaragua. The wrapper is the same as Antanos - a beautiful Nicaraguan-grown Colorado shade leaf. The combination delivers a smoke that’s deep and dense with a robust flavor of earthy, Cuban-esque qualities....bold to the core but well-balanced. The full-bodied cigar will have you reaching for another just as you nub the last. The price for a bundle of 20 for the Corona Gorda's is $39.95. You should order some today and make up your own mind because I give this cigar a 5 stars!!!
