Grimalkin (Torpedo and Toro) Sent By Gary Griffith
Mr. Griffith sent us a Torpedo and Toro and here's our reviews!
I smoked the Toro, first I punched it and the Grimalkin had a nice aroma before lighting, like it was just freshly rolled at the factory. I like to punch my cigars first to test the draw, light the cigar and then cut it after several puffs.
It started off mild, woody notes with a hint of flowery lavendar, tasted pepper notes at the end. Through the cigar, it started getting a little fuller but to the medium stand point.
Like the label, it reminded Jeff of a animated Dragon movie, you might know what we're talking about but if you refer to www.emiliocigars.com there you can read why and where they came up with the label and the name for the cigar.
Anyway when I put the cigar down, it stayed lit until after five minutes. Like other cigars like Joya De Nicaragua will stop burning after a minute to two minutes.
When I smoked the cigar, I was impressed with the wide range of flavors, the construction and the quality.
The Grimalkin has a salt and pepper like ash, strong ash and a good even burn throughout the cigar.
I rate it 5 Stars!
More from Trina!
I smoked the Torpedo and I cut the cap of the cigar. At the beginning I got a good draw and it was good all the way through. I thought it was a Mild cigar to about 1/2 way through and then it started to get Medium. I didn't get the woody notes or the flowery lavender like Jeff did, my tastes were; the cigar was creamy and near the end it went to creamy and peppery. Also really thought the cigar had a nice aroma before it was lit and while we smoked them.
The wrapper had good construction, it wasn't veiny or funky looking, it was a silky medium brown that looked delicious to smoke.
Trina rates it a 5 stars also!!

Emilio AF1 (Toro and BMF) Sent By Gary Griffith
Mr. Griffith sent us a Toro and a BMF and here's our reviews!
Trina smoked the Emilio AF1 BMF, first I used my cap cutter and I thought the cigar had a similar kind of aroma like the Grimalkin before it was lit like it was just freshly rolled at the factory as well.
It started out Mild to me and went to a Light Medium with about a 1/4 of the cigar left. It was creamy, hint of cocoa and hint of peppery flavor.
It had a salt and pepper ash, but wasn't as strong as the Grimalkin.
I didn't get an even burn from the beginning it kept burning faster on one side then the other but that still didn't make it bad just awkward to smoke.
It was a dark brown wrapper. It was a well constructed wrapper couldn't spot stems or veins like some cigars and it had a dull finish.
Trina rates this cigar a 4 stars!!
More from Jeff!
This cigar was made with the help of AJ Fernandez, one of the big names in the cigar business. I rated this cigar with 5 Stars as well. I didn't get much flavors like I did with the Grimalkin but my palate likes the more Medium to Full Bodied smokes.
I thought the cigar was Medium bodied, had some earthiness, a little buttery (yum)! and pepper notes. It did burn a little uneven but just like people, cigars can't always be perfect. We lit each cigar with a Xikar Table Lighter so you know we got the foot covered.
If you enjoy fine beer, I would recommend a beer like Amstel Light with the Emilio AF1.

Garo Centum Salomon
Filler: Nicaragua
Binder: Habano Honduras
Wrapper: Habano Ecuador
Size: 71/2x58
This cigar along with the other two we reviewed for Garo Habano rested in our humidor for three days before smoking and we simply enjoyed each one very much. We are very greatful to have smoked these fine cigars and share our opinions with our readers, so here's what we thought.
The Centum reminds us of Octoberfest, thought this cigar would be great to enjoy with, well, a Octoberfest season beer, perhaps a Orange flavored beer like Blue Moon with a Orange slice.
Started out Mild and ended Mild and Smooth.
We could only really get Woody notes and Sweetness and at the end of the cigar, Smoothness, Spicyness and lost the Sweetness.
Stayed lit after setting it down for a few minutes.
Dark Grayish White and Strong ash and even burn through out the cigar.
A Beautiful Smooth Silky Brown Wrapper.
Last but least, it sure did take us a while to smoke the Garo Centum, we estimated a Two Hour Smoke.
We rate the Garo Centum 4 and 1/2 Stars.

Garo Habano (Red/Gold Label)
So here it is...
Slow Burn, has a great full fillness of Rich Flavor, Nutty and Cedar, Mild to Medium. We thought it was a great cigar, just didn't full fill our buds but we do rate it 4 Stars!

Garo Habano (Blue/Gold Label)
Honestly, this was the best cigar we reviewed and if you know Trina, she is all about Full Body and when we talk Full Body, it has to be so strong, it will either cause her to...
A: Lose Focus
B: Lose Balance
C: Cause her to fall asleep
BUT! For being a Mild cigar, she LOVED IT and so did I!
Creamy, Woody, and Nutty.
Slow Burn
Light Gray Ash
Smooth
Good Draw and Even Burn

GARO BLACK LABEL #1 SENT FROM TOM WILLIAMS
- The cigar has a silky dark brown wrapper.
- Jeff - peppery flavor, with hot taste
- The cigar is Medium Body
- The cigar has a definate strong ash
- The cigar has a awesome draw
- We are having Natural Ice with the cigar and it calms the
taste.of the cigar.
- When we dashed the amazing ash it stayed the same size
when it fell off.
- Trina - light peppery flavor, but it has a hot taste.
- Having Natural Ice with the Garo brings more of a sweeter
taste to the beer.
- The Garo (Red Label) had more to offer with flavor when having drinks.
- I was hoping having Cinnamon Chips with the Garo would bring
out a flavor, but it still just has the peppery flavor.
- When we first had the cigar we rated it a 5 stars, but we changed
it to 4 stars.
